Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia (2018)
Trevor Noah è un comico sudafricano, nato 38 anni fa da padre svizzero tedesco e madre xhosa; dal 2011 risiede e lavora negli USA. Giocoforza, il suo punto di vista è molto particolare: non è bianco, non è nero, ha sperimentato diversi gradi di razzismo in Paesi diversi. Inoltre, non essendo statunitense ma vivendoci e lavorandoci da oltre 10 anni, riesce appunto, a centrare alcune idiosincrasie interessanti, quasi da "esterno". Su Netflix sono disponibili due suoi speciali, piuttosto recenti, che vi consiglio perché divertenti e per niente banali.
Trevor Noah is a South African comedian, born 38 years ago to a German Swiss father and a Xhosa mother; since 2011 he lives and works in the USA. Therefore, his point of view is very particular: he is not white, he is not black, he has experienced different degrees of racism in different countries. Moreover, not being American but living and working in it for over 10 years, he manages to hit some interesting idiosyncrasies, as outsider. On Netflix there are two specials of him, quite recent, which I recommend because they are funny and not at all trivial.
