Ha fatto bene, uno dei miei cantanti preferiti, a far uscire questo EP composto da un intro e quattro pezzi, tutti già editi. Ha fatto bene perché tutti e cinque erano già presenti come materiale bonus sul suo live del 2020 (uscito nel giorno di Natale) dal titolo Fuck Content, che per qualche strano meccanismo mentale, non avevo mai ascoltato oppure avevo totalmente rimosso (più probabile la seconda), e invece, tralasciando il minuto abbondante dell'intro You, Staring at Me, Staring at You, le seguenti Absence as a Presence, Don't Wanna Deal, Crazy All Around e la conclusiva, per me bellissima, Lying at the Bottom of the Sky, sono brani che confermano la validità di Greg Puciato anche da solista, con un metal schizofrenico venato da mille influenze e sfaccettature, ma con una vena melodica imbattibile, che lasciano spazio ad una voce sempre più matura e poliedrica.
One of my favorite singers did well to release this EP consisting of an intro and four songs, all already published. He did well because all five were already present as bonus material on his 2020 live album (released on Christmas Day) entitled Fuck Content, which due to some strange mental mechanism, I had never listened to or had totally removed (more likely the latter), and instead, leaving out the full minute of the intro You, Staring at Me, Staring at You, the following Absence as a Presence, Don't Wanna Deal, Crazy All Around and the final, extremely beautiful for me, Lying at the Bottom of the Sky, are songs that confirm the validity of Greg Puciato also as a soloist, with a schizophrenic metal tinged with a thousand influences and facets, but with an unbeatable melodic vein, which leave room for an increasingly mature and multifaceted voice.
