Mi costa un po' ammetterlo, ma secondo me la sempre bellissima Swifty sta perdendo un po' di ispirazione musicale, nonostante si sia raffinata a livello di arrangiamenti, soprattutto lavorando anche con Bon Iver, che si sente qua e là (non quanto Antonoff), e sia diventata adulta a livello di liriche (anche se su questo tema, tutta questa voglia di spalare merda sugli ex e fare un po' la vittima ha un po' stancato), questo suo ultimo lavoro suona un po' piatto, si ha spesso la sensazione di ascoltare un'unica canzone lunga 44 minuti. Anche se, in alcuni passaggi, complice la sua maturazione anche nell'uso della voce, fa ancora venire i brividi.

It's hard for me to admit it, but in my opinion the always beautiful Swifty is losing some musical inspiration, despite having refined herself in terms of arrangements, especially also working with Bon Iver, who is heard here and there (not as much as Antonoff) , and has become an adult in terms of lyrics (although on this subject, all this desire to shovel shit on exes and play the victim a bit has got a little tired), this latest work of hers sounds a bit flat, it has often the feeling of listening to a single 44-minute long song. Even if, in some passages, thanks to her maturation also in the use of the voice, it still makes you shiver.
