Quinto album dei Bon Iver, prosecuzione dell'EP Sable del 2024, con molti ospiti super alternativi, che conferma il marchi di fabbrica della band, e oscilla continuamente tra canzoni folk, e altre prettamente RNB/pop/soul moderno e tendente all'elettronica soft. Ricercato, sempre assolutamente ben scritto ed eseguito, a mio modesto parere manca di quelle due/tre "zampate" che, con altri album, hanno decretato la grandezza di questa band.
Bon Iver's fifth album, a follow-up to 2024's Sable EP, features many highly alternative guests and confirms the band's trademark, constantly shifting between folk songs and others that are more modern R&B/pop/soul, tending toward soft electronica. Refined, consistently well-written and performed, it lacks, in my humble opinion, the two or three "outstanding" tracks that, with other albums, have made this band great.
