Onestamente, pur divertendomi a guardare questo ennesimo lavoro di Murphy e il suo team, mi sfugge il motivo che lo ha spinto ad "inventarsi" un nuovo marchio: Grotesquerie è una serie che sarebbe potuta rientrare sotto il moniker di American Horror Story. Gran parte della critica ha sottolineato le atmosfere alla Seven e la goticità del tutto, ma credo che molte stagioni di AHS condividano le stesse caratteristiche. Come che sia, sangue, religione, assurdità a profusione, e un cast interessante anche se non di grandissimo nome, qualche difetto; intrattiene ma non è imprescindibile.
Honestly, while I'm enjoying watching this latest effort from Murphy and his team, I don't quite understand why they'd "invent" a new brand: Grotesquerie is a series that could have fit under the American Horror Story moniker. Many critics have highlighted the Seven-esque atmosphere and the overall gothic feel, but I think many seasons of AHS share the same characteristics. Whatever the case, blood, religion, absurdity galore, and an interesting, if not hugely known, cast, it has a few flaws; it's entertaining but not essential.
