Arrivata all'ottavo album in studio, la band metal di Ice T continua imperterrita a mixare hip hop old school, thrash metal della Bay Area, hardcore punk all'americana e l'innegabile influenza dei migliori Slayer, con qualche influenza, ovvia, del death/black metal moderno. Il risultato è innegabilmente affascinante per quelli della vecchia scuola, come chi vi scrive, e chissà che qualche persona con qualche giro di sveglia in meno non si possa appassionare ugualmente, e risalire alle origini sia del metal, sia dell'hip hop.
Now at their eighth studio album, Ice T's metal band continues to mix old school hip hop, Bay Area thrash metal, American hardcore punk and the undeniable influence of the best Slayer, with some influences, obviously, of modern death/black metal. The result is undeniably fascinating for those of the old school, like the writer, and who knows, maybe someone with a few less alarm clocks might get passionate about it, and trace the origins of both metal and hip hop.
