Due parole su questa cantautrice inglese dell'isola di Jersey, Nerina Natasha Georgina Pallot, discografia sostanziosa (sei album e diciotto EP, canzoni scritte anche per Kylie Minogue e Diana Vickers) ma da me "scoperta" solo di recente, ammaliato dalla sua delicatissima cover di Love Will Tear Us Apart (Joy Division, obviously) inserita nella colonna sonora della serie TV Normal People. Di recente ha pubblicato questo EP contenente cinque cover, di Kate Bush, Prefab Sprout, INXS, ABBA e Robyn, che confermano la sua bravura. Tempo permettendo, ne riparleremo.
Two words about this English singer-songwriter from the island of Jersey, Nerina Natasha Georgina Pallot, substantial discography (six albums and eighteen EPs, songs also written for Kylie Minogue and Diana Vickers) but only recently "discovered" by me, fascinated by her very delicate cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart (Joy Division, obviously) inserted in the soundtrack of the TV series Normal People. She recently released this EP containing five covers, by Kate Bush, Prefab Sprout, INXS, ABBA and Robyn, which confirm her prowess. Time permitting, we'll talk about her again.
