Oxidized - Frontierer (2021)

Band un po' scozzese e un po' statunitense, arriva con questo Oxidized al terzo album, con la voglia evidente di spaccare tutto. Così come i dischi precedenti, già segnalati da una certa critica di settore (lo ammetto, ci sono arrivato tardi, e solo su segnalazione) per la loro totale intransigenza, questo è uno dei dischi più estremi che probabilmente riuscirete ad ascoltare in questo 2021. E' un mathcore che sposa il noise e l'industrial, e quello che ne esce è un continuo attacco, un disco che fa stare l'ascoltatore in continua tensione, e lo lascia esausto alla fine dei sedici brani (quasi 50 minuti).

Band that is part Scottish and part American, with this Oxidized arrives at the third album, with the evident desire to break everything. As well as the previous records, already reported by some industry critics (I admit, I got there late, and only on recommendation) for their total intransigence, this is one of the most extreme records you will probably be able to listen to in this 2021. It is a mathcore that marries noise and industrial, and what comes out of it is a continuous attack, a record that keeps the listener in constant tension, and leaves him/her exhausted at the end of the sixteen tracks (almost 50 minutes).
