Authority Through Intimidation - Waking the Cadaver (2021)

Quarto album per la band di Jersey Shore, New Jersey, un disco che sta a metà tra lo slam death metal ed il "semplice" brutal death, e che concede poche pause per tirare il fiato, se non quelle tra una traccia e l'altra. La particolarità da sottolineare è che l'album è il primo dopo la riformazione della band, che si era sciolta alla fine del 2013, subito dopo l'uscita del loro terzo album Real-Life Death. La decisione fu presa però solo dal cantante Don Campan e dal chitarrista Michael Mayo, che decisero di ripartire con un nuovo bassista, Michael Thomas, un chitarrista addizionale (che però al momento non appare nella formazione ufficiale), Tim Carey, ed un nuovo batterista, Matt Crismond, poi sostituito nel 2020 da Chris Kulak. Un disco che certamente non invita alla riflessione. 

Fourth album for the band from Jersey Shore, New Jersey, a record that is halfway between slam death metal and "simple" brutal death, and that allows few breaks to catch your breath, if not those between a track and the other. The peculiarity to point out is that the album is the first after the reunion of the band, which had disbanded at the end of 2013, immediately after the release of their third album Real-Life Death. The decision was made, however, only by singer Don Campan and guitarist Michael Mayo, who decided to start again with a new bassist, Michael Thomas, an additional guitarist (who does not appear in the official lineup at the moment), Tim Carey, and a new drummer, Matt Crismond, later replaced in 2020 by Chris Kulak. An album that certainly does not invite reflection.
