The Record - Boygenius (2023)
Le Boygenius (per chi fosse appena uscito dal coma, Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers e Lucy Dacus) dopo aver osannato il loro EP di debutto del 2018, mi fecero scrivere questo sulla mia pagina Facebook: "Pensierino musicale: le Boygenius sono i/le nuovi/e CSN&Y. Ci sono canzoni nel loro atteso disco di debutto, che ti strappano l'anima. Auguro loro lo stesso successo, di critica e di pubblico." Non ho cambiato opinione, dopo un paio di mesi, quindi, quando volete prendervi una pausa da death/black/metalcore, sapete cosa fare.
Boygenius (for those fresh out of a coma, Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus) after praising their 2018 debut EP, made me write this on my Facebook page: "Musical little thought: Boygenius are the new CSN&Y. There are songs on their eagerly awaited debut album that rip your soul out. I wish them the same success, critically and commercially." I haven't changed my mind after a couple of months, so when you want to take a break from death/black/metalcore, you know what to do.
