Con questo sono diciannove gli album per i Priest. Così come per l'ultimo Saxon, qui forse ancor di più, il risultato è a dir poco sorprendente. Siamo ovviamente dalle parti dell'heavy metal più classico che ci sia, ma, non ci crederete, Invincible Shield suona convincente come non mai. La voce di Halford sembra inossidabile, la coesione del resto della band è ottima, e ci sono diversi pezzi estremamente buoni. La mia preferita è Crown of Horns, ma potete scegliere a vostro piacimento.
With this, the Priest has made nineteen albums. As with the last Saxon, perhaps even more so here, the result is nothing short of surprising. We are obviously in the area of the most classic heavy metal there is, but, you won't believe it, Invincible Shield sounds convincing as ever. Halford's voice seems stainless, the cohesion of the rest of the band is excellent, and there are several extremely good songs. My favorite is Crown of Horns, but you can choose as you like.
