Non mi sono più occupato della band di Oxnard, California dal loro debutto, che risale ormai a 14 anni fa. Sono arrivati al quarto album, otto anni dopo il loro terzo, e dopo aver cambiato tre quarti della formazione. Il risultato, però, non cambia: quel meraviglioso genere che, se siete anziani, cataolgherete come grindcore, se invece siete meno stagionati chiamerete powerviolence, e che deriva, come saprete, dall'hardcore punk, e più precisamente, dal crust punk. Dieci tracce per un totale di poco inferiore a diciotto minuti: è tutto dire.
I haven't covered the band from Oxnard, California since their debut, which dates back to 14 years ago. They've reached their fourth album, eight years after their third, and after changing three-quarters of the lineup. The result, however, does not change: that wonderful genre that, if you're older, you'll label as grindcore, if you're less seasoned you'll call powerviolence, and which derives, as you know, from hardcore punk, and more precisely, from crust punk. Ten tracks for a total of just under eighteen minutes: that says it all.
