Se rileggete in ordine cronologico i miei commenti sui dischi della band danese, includendo anche i live, capirete subito che l'idillio tra me e loro ha cominciato a sfumare già da qualche anno, e da qualche disco. Questo Servant of the Mind non riesce ad invertire la tendenza, e qualche sprazzo dei loro tempi migliori, che fa capolino ogni tanto solo da alcune delle diciotto tracce dell'edizione Deluxe, non fa altro che ingigantire la disdetta e un senso di malinconia per i bei dischi di qualche anno addietro, quelli che continuavano a girare a ripetizione e dei quali non avrei scartato neppure un brano. C'è un appagamento tronfio, una totale assenza di mordente, che riesce perfino a rendere antipatica la loro cover di Don't Tread On Me dei Metallica, seppure riescano a farla loro senza dubbio alcuno. No, davvero non ci siamo.
