Disco dal vivo per la band originaria di Daly City, California, registrato al Great American Music Hall di San Francisco il 22 di maggio del 2021, data in cui i Death Angel hanno suonato brani che raramente o mai prima di allora erano stati suonati dal vivo. Di questa band vi ho parlato già, e vi ho raccontato di quanto fosse divenuta di culto tra gli ascoltatori di thrash metal, tra la seconda metà degli anni '80 e gli inizi dei '90; questo live non aggiunge e non toglie nulla a quanto già detto, la band, nonostante i cambi di formazione, è sempre una band solida e capace, i ragazzi sono ancorati al passato ma il loro gusto melodico, che si estrinseca spesso in ballad arpeggiate ed altre finezze, li rende un po' diversi. Alcune tracce, anche più recenti (la scaletta è distribuita abbastanza equamente lungo tutta la loro carriera, con l'aggiunta di Falling Off the Edge of the World, cover dei Black Sabbath era Dio, abbastanza figa), non sono male, ma certo, quando arrivano The Organization (da Act III), così come la doppietta Why You Do This / Guilty of Innocence (da Frolic Through the Park), il tiro cambia innegabilmente.

Some tracks, even more recent (the lineup is distributed fairly evenly throughout their career, with the addition of Falling Off the Edge of the World, cover by Black Sabbath Dio-era, cool enough), are not bad, but sure, when The Organization (from Act III) arrives, as well as the brace Why You Do This / Guilty of Innocence (from Frolic Through the Park), the run changes undeniably.
