Twin Dream - Glassing (2021)
Terzo album per la band di Austin, Texas. Sludge, black metal, post-rock, shoegaze, noise rock, post-hardcore, epic post-metal sono alcune delle influenze che troverete nel loro suono, che, mi perdonerete, a me ricordano soprattutto gli Amenra. E' vero però che si differenziano dalla grande band belga, soprattutto per gli inserimenti shoe-black-gaze. Il disco brilla per intensità, e per i palati abituati a certe sonorità per così dire robuste, sarà difficile toglierlo dalla rotazione selvaggia.

Sludge, black metal, post-rock, shoegaze, noise rock, post-hardcore, epic post-metal are some of the influences you will find in their sound, which, you will forgive me, mostly reminds me of Amenra. It is true, however, that they differ from the great Belgian band, especially for the shoe-black-gaze insertions. The disc shines for intensity, and for palates accustomed to certain robust sounds, it will be difficult to remove it from the heavy rotation.
