deSidera - Cristina Donà (2021)

Nono album, non contando la riedizione di Tregua del 2017 e Ginevra Di Marco & Cristina Donà, ovviamente in due con Ginevra Di Marco, del 2019, per la cantautrice di Rho, oggi 54enne, che come sapete, qua seguiamo dai suoi inizi. Per l'ennesima volta ripeterò che la sua è una delle più grandi e belle voci italiane, ma detto questo, c'è da notare che in un certo qual modo, Cristina continua il suo percorso di sperimentazione, pur rimanendo all'interno della canzone che possiamo definire d'autore. Non si è mai fermata, ha rischiato, qualche album non le è uscito benissimo, ma ha sempre conservato quella curiosità che personalmente apprezzo. Su questo Desidera c'è un'elettronica non invadente, la solita asimmetricità caratteristica della sua musica, arrangiamenti rarefatti e delicati, insomma, la miglior Cristina Donà.

For the umpteenth time I will repeat that her is one of the greatest and most beautiful Italian voices, but having said that, it should be noted that in a certain way, Cristina continues her path of experimentation, while remaining within the song that we can define as author music. She never stopped, she took a risk, some albums didn't come out very well, but she has always kept that curiosity that I personally appreciate. On this Desidera there is an unobtrusive electronics, the usual asymmetry characteristic of her music, rarefied and delicate arrangements, in short, the best Cristina Donà.
