Per provare a sentirmi un poco più giovane, sono qua davanti al TPO di Bologna in attesa dell'apertura dei cancelli, che avviene con un po' di ritardo. Ottima iniziativa, che mi dà la possibilità di ascoltare alcune band che non conosco. Aprono, leggermente in ritardo (un ritardo che rimarrà una costante, anche se non peggiorerà), gli italiani Skulld (da quanto sono riuscito a capire, da Bertinoro in Romagna ma con una cantante milanese), che ascolto distrattamente ma che mi paiono convincenti con un death che deve moltissimo agli Slayer. Dopo di loro i lodigiani Selva, dei quali vi ho parlato, e che mi vedo con gusto: una cascata di metallo rovente. Ottimi nella loro prevedibilità gli statunitensi Sanguisugabogg, massici con una spruzzata di grind. Il cambio palco viene accompagnato dal progetto che risponde al nome di þe clovde of vnknowying, se ho capito bene da Bologna, un metal elettronico virato in salsa noise, eseguito con un campionatore vicino alla zona del mixer, dopo di che arrivano i francesi Celeste, già visti in questa occasione, sicuramente, insieme agli headliner, la proposta più ricercata della serata, impeccabili e potentissimi. Altro cambio palco accompagnato da un altro progetto elettronico con i Fera, e subito dopo è la volta dei veterani Rotten Sound, dalla Finlandia, simpatici e con un attitudine positiva e dialogante, più grindcore che death metal, vagamente ricordano i D.R.I. Chiudono i Full of Hell, anche loro statunitensi, maestri del powerviolence e delle ibridazioni (grind, sludge, death, noise), ottimi. Nonostante i set tutti molto brevi, sei ore sono tantissime: non sono più giovane, quindi, nel caso ci fosse ancora bisogno di provarlo.

The Americans Sanguisugabogg are excellent in their predictability, massive with a splash of grind. The stage change is accompanied by the project that responds to the name of þe clovde of vnknowying, if I understood correctly from Bologna, an electronic metal veered in a noise sauce, performed with a sampler near the mixer area, after which the French Celeste arrive. Already seen on this occasion, certainly, together with the headliners, the most sought after proposal of the evening, impeccable and very powerful. Another stage change accompanied by another electronic project with Fera, and immediately after it's the turn of the veterans Rotten Sound, from Finland, nice and with a positive attitude and dialogue, more grindcore than death metal, vaguely reminiscent of D.R.I. Close the Full of Hell, also American, masters of powerviolence and hybridizations (grind, sludge, death, noise), excellent. Although the sets are all very short, six hours is a lot: I'm not young anymore, so, in case there was still a need to try it.
