Terminus - Jesu (2020)
Un progetto attualmente solista, per lo più, con aiuti in studio o live. Il percorso dei Jesu è partito dal metal, ma adesso, almeno con questo disco, è basicamente un qualcosa di shogaze / elettronico. Tracce abbastanza lunghe, una forma / canzone appena abbozzata, droni di chitarra, batteria programmata, elettronica dosata e voce che, inserita nel contesto, ricorda quella di Jonsi senza falsetto. Potrebbe essere il pop del futuro. Chissà.
Fifth studio album for Justin Broadrick's band, never forgotten mind of Godflesh. A currently solo project, mostly, with studio or live aids. Jesu's path started from metal, but now, at least with this record, it's basically something shogaze / electronic. Quite long tracks, a barely sketched shape / song, guitar drones, programmed drums, dosed electronics and a voice that, placed in the context, recalls that of Jonsi without falsetto. It could be the pop of the future. Who knows.
