Squalor - Trash Talk (2020)
In attesa del nuovo album, che da oltre un anno viene annunciato ma del quale ancora non si vede traccia, nel 2020 è uscito questo EP di cinque tracce, che ci ricorda di questa band di Sacramento, California, un'altra punta di diamante del genere crossover tra thrash metal ed hardcore punk. A parte il fatto che il batterista Thomas Pridgen è rientrato a far parte della band, dopo aver lasciato nel 2014, non ci sono sostanziali novità, il solito genere di cui sopra, ben fatto, con canzoni sempre molto aggressive.
Waiting for the new album, which has been announced for over a year but of which there is no trace yet, in 2020 this five-track EP was released, which reminds us of this band from Sacramento, California, another spearhead of the crossover genre between thrash metal and hardcore punk. Apart from the fact that drummer Thomas Pridgen has rejoined the band, after leaving in 2014, there are no substantial news, the usual genre above, well done, with always very aggressive songs.
