Molto deludente il settimo album in studio della ormai 28enne ex bambina prodigio, che probabilmente è riuscita a stupire un po' tutti un po' troppo presto. Dopo aver sbancato con Bangerz nel 2013, e aver conquistato anche chi predilige cose un poco più raffinate con l'ottimo Miley Cyrus And Her Dead Petz nel 2015, la creatività è decisamente in parabola discendente, così come intuito anche dall'EP del 2019 She Is Coming. Un synth pop con qualche reminiscenza country scialbo, un disco piatto con diversi plagi, che neppure ospiti quali Dua Lipa, Joan Jett e Billy Idol, riescono a sollevare.

Very disappointing is the seventh studio album of the now 28-year-old ex-girl phenomenon, which probably managed to surprise everyone a little too soon. After having hit the jackpot with Bangerz in 2013, and having conquered even those who prefer things a little more refined with the excellent Miley Cyrus And Her Dead Petz in 2015, creativity is definitely on a downward path, as also intuited by the 2019 EP She Is Coming. A synth pop with some country reminiscence, very dull, a flat record with various plagiarisms, which not even guests like Dua Lipa, Joan Jett and Billy Idol can lift.
