Opera in otto parti, ispirata alla mitologia (nordica) islandese, eseguita dal vivo per la prima volta 18 anni fa ma mai registrata, anzi, mai pubblicata degnamente. Esce adesso questa registrazione del 2004, eseguita a La Grande Halle de la Villette a Parigi. Come nota giustamente Pitchfork, musicalmente la grande protagonista è la marimba (una marimba particolare, costruita da Páll Guðmundsson, dove le solite doghe di legno sono state sostituite con pietre islandesi); nel complesso, i Sigur Rós appaiono a loro agio anche in un'operazione come questa, ed il tutto risulta abbastanza suggestivo, anche se non un capolavoro.

Opera in eight parts, inspired by Icelandic (Nordic) mythology, performed live for the first time 18 years ago but never recorded, indeed, never published with dignity. Now this 2004 recording is out, performed at La Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris. As Pitchfork rightly notes, musically the great protagonist is the marimba (a particular marimba, built by Páll Guðmundsson, where the the usual wooden slats have been replaced with Icelandic stones); on the whole, the Sigur Rós appear at ease even in an operation like this, and the whole is quite suggestive, even if not a masterpiece.
