Sesto album per Mathangi "Maya" Arulpragasam, conosciuta con il nome d'arte M.I.A., artista che riesce sempre a generare polveroni, pensatrice radicale ma anche confusa, musicalmente più avanti perfino di Rosalía. Per fare i fighi, potete tranquillamente dire che il disco contiene elementi di Moombahton e di Bhangra, il disco contiene 13 tracce (ma dura appena 33 minuti), e momenti davvero irresistibili. Certo, non dovete essere troppo tradizionalisti, ma se leggete qui, immagino che conoscerete un minimo chi è M.I.A., e che sappiate cosa aspettarvi: world music ballabilissima e ipnotica, con velleità commerciali ma senza rinunciare alla sperimentazione: non sorprendetevi se, ascoltando K.T.P. (Keep the Peace) vi troverete a domandarvi "dov'è che l'ho già sentita questa?" (è Maps degli Yeah Yeah Yeahs).
