Il terzo album per la band francese, della quale vi ho parlato in occasione del loro secondo album, e pure quando li ho visti aprire per i Cult Leader, ci consegna una band in grande forma, che tra l'altro ha deciso di "rivelarsi", rendendo pubbliche le identità di almeno due componenti (gli unici due considerati ufficiali, del resto); una band che non inventa niente, certo, e che può senza dubbio essere catalogata ed accostata, per far capire in quale zona rock siamo (post hardcore punk) a La Dispute e Touché Amoré, ma che, come quelle citate e come altre band che hanno una componente emo, riescono, almeno nei miei confronti, a toccarmi sempre, appunto, a livello emozionale. Un disco che suona onesto, che a livello lirico si interroga su come sia possibile amare e relazionarsi con gli altri in un mondo che sembra cadere a pezzi, duro ed al tempo stesso, delicato, sofferto, giusto.

The third album for the French band, which I told you about on the occasion of their second album, and even when I saw them open for Cult Leader, gives us a band in great shape, which among other things has decided to "reveal itself ", making public the identities of at least two components (the only two considered official, after all); a band that does not invent anything, of course, and that can undoubtedly be cataloged and approached, to make it clear which rock area we are in (post hardcore punk) at La Dispute and Touché Amoré, but which, like those mentioned and like other bands that they have an emo component, they manage, at least towards me, to always touch me on an emotional level. A record that sounds honest, which on a lyrical level questions how it is possible to love and relate to others in a world that seems to be falling apart, hard and at the same time, delicate, suffered, right.
