Glass Cathedrals - The Mire (2015)
Band di Brighton, UK, i The Mire sono esistiti dal 2009 al 2015. Questo è il loro secondo (di tre) album, più volte consigliatomi dall'amico lui-sa-chi-è. Mirabile esempio di post metal possente e melodico, sospeso a metà tra i Deftones e gli Amenra, ingloba inoltre elementi di djent, di drone, di progressive, e di chissà che altro, per un risultato davvero da sottolineare, e da ricordare. C'è inoltre da notare una vena compositiva ispiratissima: alcune tracce sono molto belle. Scopritele da soli, nel caso come me, ci siate arrivati in colpevole ritardo.
Band from Brighton, UK, The Mire existed from 2009 to 2015. This is their second (out of three) album, repeatedly recommended to me by my friend he-knows-who-he-is. An admirable example of powerful and melodic post metal, suspended halfway between Deftones and Amenra, it also incorporates elements of djent, drone, progressive, and who knows what else, for a result that is truly to be emphasized and remembered. There is also a highly inspired compositional vein: some tracks are very beautiful. Find out for yourself, in case like me, you got there guilty late.
