Pantychrist - Dana Dentata (2021)
Viene da Etobicoke, sobborgo di Toronto, Canada (ma adesso è di casa a Los Angeles, California), e faceva parte di una band metal, i Dentata (appunto). Il suo vero nome è Dana Marie Wright, il riferimento del suo nome d'arte è alla "vagina dentata", i suoi riferimenti musicali sono hard rock ed heavy metal, è stata "scoperta" da Marilyn Manson, dice di essere amica di un demone (Purple Tony), esteticamente tende a ricordare vagamente Wendy O' Williams (ma anche Brooke Candy), musicalmente questo disco suona un po' come Ghostemane al femminile. Dice comunque di non odiare gli uomini, anzi, al contrario. Le sue liriche documentano traumi del passato (abusi, stupri) con minuzia di dettagli e brutalità, e lei stessa sostiene di avere un corto-circuito nella testa visto che Manson è una delle persone che l'ha più aiutata, e quando è stato accusato da svariate donne di abusi, non ha saputo più cosa pensare. Il disco è buono (è il suo debutto), ovviamente pungente, il personaggio è da tenere d'occhio.

Her lyrics document past traumas (abuse, rape) in minute detail and brutality, and she herself claims to have a short circuit in her head as Manson is one of the people who helped her most, and when he was accused from various abused women, she no longer knew what to think. The record is good (it's her debut), obviously pungent, the character is worth keeping an eye on.
