Loose Threads - Hollow Front (2020)
Oggi siamo alle prese con una band che viene da Grand Rapids, Michigan, relativamente giovane (si sono formati nel 2016), e questo è il loro secondo album, dopo il debutto del 2018 dal titolo Still Life. Metalcore possente, molto melodico nei ritornelli e nelle introduzioni, in un modo che ricorda tantissimo gli Architects, mentre le strofe ed il resto delle tracce è ancora molto aggressivo. Nel calderone, anche un pizzico di elettronica; manca un poco di personalità, vedremo in seguito.
Today we are dealing with a relatively young band from Grand Rapids, Michigan (they formed in 2016), and this is their second album, following their 2018 debut entitled Still Life. Powerful metalcore, very melodic in the choruses and introductions, in a way that is very reminiscent of the Architects, while the verses and the rest of the tracks are still very aggressive. In the cauldron, even a pinch of electronics; it lacks a bit of personality, we'll see later.
