Sunrise on Slaughter Beach - Clutch (2022)
Tredicesimo album per la band di Germantown, Maryland, che al primo impatto (anche per la surreale copertina, ad essere onesti) mi ha ricordato, in alcuni passaggi, i migliori Monster Magnet. Di altre influenze vi avevo già detto in occasione del precedente Book of Bad Decisions, ribadisco che i Clutch scrivono sempre liriche degne di nota, che certamente non seguono le mode, e che anche questo loro ultimo album ha un "peso specifico" importante.
Thirteenth album for the band from Germantown, Maryland, which at first impact (even for the surreal cover, to be honest) reminded me, in some passages, of the best Monster Magnet. I had already told you about other influences on the occasion of the previous Book of Bad Decisions, I repeat that Clutch always write noteworthy lyrics, that certainly do not follow trends, and that their latest album also has an important "specific weight", if you know what I mean.
