Raven - Kelela (2023)
Il secondo, e molto atteso da chi (come me) la segue fin dagli inizi, album di Kelela, conferma tutto quello che avevo detto in occasione del suo primo EP e del suo album di debutto: un disco elegantissimo di ambient pop, con elementi di breakbeat, 2 step e RNB, con liriche orgogliosamente queer. Una voce, e scusate se l'ho già detto più volte, meravigliosa, per un disco che va ascoltato attentamente, per capirne la sofisticatezza.
The second album by Kelela, eagerly awaited by those (like me) who have followed her since the beginning, confirms everything I said on the occasion of her first EP and her debut album: a very elegant album of ambient pop, with elements of breakbeat, 2 step and RNB, with proudly queer lyrics. A voice, and sorry if I've already said it many times, wonderful, for a record that must be listened to carefully, to understand its sophistication.
