Vi parlo oggi, con ritardo, del secondo album dei Tallah, una delle poche "rimanenze di magazzino" del 2022, prima di passare, sempre con colpevolissimo ritardo, agli album del 2023. Ve ne parlo partendo con una ammissione di errore: conclusi la recensione del loro debutto dicendo che era un disco fuori dal tempo, ma ascoltando questo The Generation of Danger mi sto rendendo conto che non è esattamente così. E' vero che appartengono a quel gruppo di band che ha dato vita ad una sorta di revival del nu metal, e che i Korn sono la prima cosa a cui uno pensa quando li ascolta, ma si comincia a sentire la necessità di allargare il campo con tutta una serie di influenze diverse, di quelle che possono essere accostate alla base di partenza senza risultare stridenti. Un bel dischettino allegro.

Today I'm going to talk about, belatedly, about Tallah's second album, one of the few "leftovers" from 2022, before moving on, again with very guilty delay, to the albums from 2023. I'm telling you about it starting with an admission of error: I concluded the review of their debut saying it was a record out of time, but listening to this The Generation of Danger I'm realizing that it's not exactly like that. It's true that they belong to that group of bands that gave birth to a sort of nu metal revival, and that Korn are the first thing one thinks of when listening to them, but one begins to feel the need to broaden the field with a whole series of different influences, the kind that can be mixed to the starting point without being strident. A nice cheerful disk.
