Ottavo disco per la band polacca guidata da Vogg (Wacław Kiełtyka), che, rispetto all'ultima volta nella quale parlammo di loro, ha aggiunto un'altra voce al suo personale curriculum: chitarrista solista dei Machine Head (qui presenti su Iconoclast). Disco feroce, aggressivo, tecnico, con un'altra collaborazione di rilievo, quella con i Jinjer su Hello Death, i Decapitated si confermano una delle band di punta del moderno death metal, con suoni moderni innestati su strutture abbastanza standard per il genere, e i sempre presenti "tributi" all'heavy metal classico, soprattutto nel lavoro di chitarra.
Eighth disc for the Polish band led by Vogg (Wacław Kiełtyka), who, compared to the last time we talked about them, added another voice to his personal curriculum: lead guitarist of Machine Head (here on Iconoclast). Ferocious record, aggressive, technical, with another important collaboration, the one with Jinjer on Hello Death, Decapitated are confirmed as one of the leading bands of modern death metal, with modern sounds grafted onto fairly standard structures for the genre, and always present "tributes" to classic heavy metal, especially on the guitar work.
