Live at Roadburn Redux - Gggolddd (2022)
Mentre stava uscendo This Shame Should Not Be Mine, un disco che come ricorderete mi ha fatto una buonissima impressione, nell'ambito del Roadburn, un festival decisamente "avanti" sempre e comunque, la band olandese si è esibita suonando per intero quel disco, con l'aggiunta di un accompagnamento orchestrale. Lo scorso venerdi è stata resa disponibile la performance, anche in video. Niente di sorprendente per chi ha già ascoltato ed è rimasto impressionato dal disco in studio, ma sicuramente la conferma che questo è uno dei dischi del 2022, e che i Gggolddd sono una band molto interessante.
While This Shame Should Not Be Mine was coming out, a record that as you will remember made a very good impression on me, in the context of Roadburn, a decidedly "forward" festival always and in any case, the Dutch band performed playing the entire record, with the addition of an orchestral accompaniment. Last Friday the performance was made available, also in video. Nothing surprising for those who have already listened to and were impressed by the studio record, but it certainly confirms that this is one of the records of 2022, and that Gggolddd is a very interesting band.
