New Hell - Greet Death (2019)
Facciamo un passo indietro fino al 2019 per parlare del secondo lavoro della band di Flint, Michigan (si, quella dell'acqua avvelenata e dov'è nato Michael Moore), autori di un genere che viene definito anche slowcore, che altro non è se non uno shoegaze con elementi di post e indie rock. Terzetto basico (chitarra basso e batteria), con i due alla chitarra e al basso che cantano entrambi, a creare armonie vocali che si innestano su tempi rallentati, chitarre low fi ma potenti, intervalli arpeggiati e "soffici", qualche grande assolo qua e là, ottime melodie. Teniamoli d'occhio.
