E' probabile che Sir James Paul McCartney da Liverpool UK, 78 anni, sia un tipo piuttosto meticoloso. Infatti, nonostante questo sia il suo diciottesimo album solista, lo ha intitolato III a continuazione di I del 1970 e di II del 1980, gli altri album dove suona tutti gli strumenti. Naturalmente, non ci sono introduzioni da fare, quindi andiamo dritto al punto: III è un disco molto piacevole, dai toni rilassati, sbilanciato sull'acustico ma non troppo, dove si capisce che è ancora sul pezzo (ultimamente St. Vincent su Instagram si è stupita perché ha letto un'intervista dove Macca la citava tra i suoi ascolti di musica "moderna"), ci sono delle similitudini con alcune cose di David Byrne, e soprattutto, è un artista musicale che possiede un talento enorme a livello di composizione. Non aggiungo altro, vi invito semplicemente a dargli un ascolto.
