Evermore - Taylor Swift (2020)

Per molti artisti musicali, la pandemia ed il conseguente isolamento in attesa del vaccino, ha avuto un lato negativo, ed uno positivo: quello negativo è la perdita di molti incassi dovuti alla mancanza della possibilità di esibirsi dal vivo, quello positivo è l'abbondanza di tempo per riflettersi e comporre. Swifty ne ha approfittato per comporre ben due album, seppure abbia presentato (a sorpresa, poche ore prima della pubblicazione, senza troppa pubblicità) anche questo nuovissimo Evermore come sister record del precedente Folklore. 

Probabilmente inferiore al suo predecessore, il disco conferma la vena intimista pop folk dell'artista (è stato ovviamente scritto insieme agli stessi collaboratori di Folklore), e una rinnovata notevole brillantezza compositiva. Duetti con Haim (No Body, No Crime), The National (Coney Island), Bon Iver (Evermore), e come sempre, questi ultimi segnano la migliore traccia del disco.

For many musical artists, the pandemic and the consequent isolation pending the vaccine, has had a negative and a positive side: the negative is the loss of many proceeds due to the lack of the possibility to perform live, the positive is the abundance of time to reflect and compose. Swifty took the opportunity to compose two albums, even if she presented (surprisingly, a few hours before the publication, without too much publicity, as the previous) this brand new Evermore as a "sister record" of the previous Folklore.

Probably inferior to its predecessor, the album confirms the artist's pop folk intimist vein (it was obviously written together with the same Folklore collaborators), and a renewed remarkable compositional brilliance. Duets with Haim (No Body, No Crime), The National (Coney Island), Bon Iver (Evermore), and as always, the latter mark the best track on the album.
