Oggi parliamo dei The Plot in You, band formata ad Hancock County, Ohio, nel 2010, inizialmente come un progetto di Landon Tewers, membro (allora) dei Before Their Eyes, qui al loro quinto disco, un disco che segna un ulteriore passo sul percorso che hanno deciso di intraprendere, partendo dall'iniziale metalcore con voce gutturale, fino ad arrivare ad una sorta di ibrido che comprende chitarre metal, voci pulite, reminiscenze djent, elettronica, strutture complesse che mischiano metalcore con alt rock, e perfino emocore. Dieci brani, 35 minuti, il disco è, come potrete intuire, interessante per chiunque ami la sperimentazione ed il crossover.
Today we talk about The Plot in You, a band formed in Hancock County, Ohio, in 2010, initially as a project by Landon Tewers, member (then) of Before Their Eyes, here on their fifth album, a record that marks a further step on the path they have decided to undertake, starting from the initial metalcore with a guttural voice, up to a sort of hybrid that includes metal guitars, clean vocals, djent reminiscences, electronics, complex structures that mix metalcore with alt rock, and even emocore. Ten tracks, 35 minutes, the disc is, as you can guess, interesting for anyone who loves experimentation and crossover.
