Album di debutto per la band di Detroit, Michigan, capitanata dal cantante e chitarrista ritmico Alex Stoitsiadis, e formata intorno al 2015. Dopo un paio di EP, Melee è stato pubblicato nel marzo del 2020, e ci fa ascoltare una band molto giovane, che suona un ottimo post hardcore, e che viene spesso avvicinata ai quasi concittadini La Dispute, ma io suggerirei anche ai grandi Touché Amoré. E' un genere tutto sommato abbastanza prevedibile, ma sempre piacevole quando, come in questo caso, c'è un gran lavoro degli strumenti e una grande "fisicità".

Debut album for the band from Detroit, Michigan, led by singer and rhythm guitarist Alex Stoitsiadis, and formed around 2015. After a couple of EPs, Melee was released in March of 2020, and we listen to a very young band, which sounds an excellent post hardcore, and which is often approached to the almost fellow citizens La Dispute, but I would also suggest to the great Touché Amoré. It is a fairly predictable genre, but always pleasant when, as in this case, there is a great work of the instruments and a great "physicality".
