Decimo album per Kanye, intitolato come sua madre, disco vagamente oscuro e fondamentalmente hip hop gospel con varie influenze/variazioni sempre con base hip hop, tra le quali anche la trap. Disco lunghissimo (ventisette tracce per un'ora e 48 minuti) e a tratti ridondante, una lista di collaborazioni infinita, tra le quali cito solo Buju Banton e Marilyn Manson, ma l'ennesima dimostrazione che, a parte la sua megalomania, il suo apparire francamente un po' infantile, i suoi problemi veri (e seri) o inventati, Kanye West è senza dubbio uno che nel campo hip hop, è ancora all'avanguardia, e sa sicuramente scrivere canzoni che ti acchiappano e lasciano il segno.

Very long disc (twenty-seven tracks for an hour and 48 minutes) and sometimes redundant, an infinite list of collaborations, among which I mention only Buju Banton and Marilyn Manson, but yet another demonstration that, apart from its megalomania, its appearance frankly a bit childish, his real (and serious) or invented problems, Kanye West is undoubtedly one who in the hip hop field, is still at the forefront, and can certainly write songs that grab you and leave their mark.
