Quinto album per la band di Portland, Maine, autori di un black metal che si intreccia con il folk, ma rispetto, ad esempio, ai Wolves in the Throne Room, si concede spesso alla melodia, attraverso gli assoli e gli armonici di chitarra. I risultati sono a volte sorprendenti, il disco è un'altalena di sensazioni. Il suono è abbastanza grezzo, e soprattutto nelle tracce lunghe, i cambi di tempo sono moltissimi. Non è da buttare.
Fifth album for the band from Portland, Maine, authors of a black metal that is intertwined with folk, but compared, for example, to Wolves in the Throne Room, it often gives in to melody, through solos and guitar harmonics. The results are sometimes surprising, the record is a swing of sensations. The sound is quite raw, and especially in long tracks, the tempo changes are a lot. It is not to be thrown away.
