Passo indietro per parlare del quinto album della band australiana di Blacktown (nome appropriato), un sobborgo di Sydney, Australia, formatasi nel 2006 e avente come solo membro superstite dopo tutti questi anni, il chitarrista ritmico Sean Delander. Autori di un deathcore piuttosto tecnico ed aggressivo, a mio giudizio sono molto più vicini al death metal che al metalcore, ma è giusto definirlo ibrido. Dieci tracce tutte tiratissime, molti inserti blast beat, voce sempre al limite, e un pizzico di djent, che non guasta mai.
Step back to talk about the fifth album by the Australian band from Blacktown (what a name), a suburb of Sydney, Australia, formed in 2006 and having rhythm guitarist Sean Delander as their only surviving member after all these years. Authors of a rather technical and aggressive deathcore, in my opinion they are much closer to death metal than metalcore, but it is fair to call it hybrid. Ten tracks all very tight and fast, many blast beat inserts, vocals always at the limit, and a pinch of djent, which never hurts.
