L'ottavo lavoro della band norvegese, pur non aggiungendo alcunché a quello che già sapevamo (e che potete leggere digitando spidergawd nel motore di ricerca del blog, in alto a sinistra), sulla loro perizia tecnica e sul loro approccio alla musica, è di quegli album che funzionano così: primo ascolto, pensi "sempre le solite cose". Già dal secondo, ti innamori di una traccia, poi due, poi ti ritrovi ad ascoltarlo con continuità, e ti rendi conto che non c'è una traccia brutta. Credo di essermi spiegato.
The Norwegian band's eighth album, while adding nothing to what we already knew (and which you can read by typing spidergawd into the blog's search engine, top left) about their technical prowess and their approach to music, is one of those albums that works like this: the first listen, you think "same old stuff." From the second, you fall in love with one track, then two, then you find yourself listening to it over and over again, and you realize there isn't a single bad track. I think I made myself clear.
