Progetto collaterale per le due ottime artiste statunitensi, nato (sembra) un po' per caso, corredato da alcune date dal vivo, e che ci regala un album da una parte, fatto musicalmente di un country quasi classico, dall'altra da liriche naturalmente queer, viste le due protagoniste, soffermandosi soprattutto su due temi principali, amore e religione. Le due voci si contrappongono splendidamente, ed il disco, seppur non epocale, è godibile e interessante.
A side project for these two excellent American artists, born (it seems) somewhat by chance, accompanied by a few live dates, and which gives us an album that is both musically almost classic country and, given the two protagonists, naturally queer in its lyrics, focusing primarily on two main themes: love and religion. The two voices contrast beautifully, and the album, while not epochal, is enjoyable and interesting.
