Il decimo album dei Chevelle, il primo completamente prodotto solo dal quasi factotum Pete Loeffler (ricordiamolo, anche voce, chitarra, basso, compositore - l'altro unico componente è, alla batteria, il fratello Sam), godibile e ben fatto come sempre, melodie accattivanti, giusta dose di durezza e via discorrendo, ci ricorda una cosa principale: i Chevelle sono la versione Bignami dei Tool (in alcuni passaggi la somiglianza non solo del suono, ma anche della voce, è sorprendente): somigliano loro moltissimo, ma le loro canzoni durano molto meno (è vero, hanno meno pathos, ma ci siamo capiti).
Chevelle's tenth album, the first entirely produced by the quasi-factotum Pete Loeffler (remember, he also plays vocals, guitar, bass, and songwriter - the only other member is his brother Sam on drums), enjoyable and well-crafted as always, with catchy melodies, the right amount of harshness, and so on, reminds us of one main thing: Chevelle are the Bignami version of Tool (in some passages, the similarity not only in sound, but also in voice, is surprising): they sound a lot like them, but their songs are much shorter (it's true, they have less pathos, but you get the idea).
