Album collaborativo tra la band nord americana dei Sumac, e la poetessa, musicista e attivista Camae Ayewa, conosciuta come Moor Mother (le due "entità" avevano già collaborato su un remix del pezzo World of Light dei Sumac). Il lavoro vede anche altri ospiti, quali Kyle Kidd, Sovei, Candice Hoyes, dalle provenienze più disparate, ed è strutturato come fosse (facile intuirlo dal titolo, del disco e di alcune tracce) la colonna sonora di una pellicola. Ora, a parte che probabilmente sarebbe un film sull'Apocalisse, il lavoro non è perfetto, a livello sperimentale, perché le provenienze sono un po' distanti (post metal i Sumac, free jazz Moor Mother), ma il tentativo è interessante, e senza dubbio provoca emozioni forti, all'ascolto.
A collaborative album between the North American band Sumac and poet, musician, and activist Camae Ayewa, known as Moor Mother (the two "entities" had previously collaborated on a remix of Sumac's "World of Light"). The album also features other guests, including Kyle Kidd, Sovei, and Candice Hoyes, from a wide variety of backgrounds, and is structured as if it were (as the title, of the album and of some tracks suggest) a film soundtrack. Now, aside from the fact that it's likely a film about the Apocalypse, the work isn't perfect experimentally, as its origins are somewhat distant (post-metal Sumac, free jazz Moor Mother), but the attempt is interesting and undoubtedly stirs strong emotions when listened to.
