Quarto album per i Rhye, che si basano sul duo Michael Milosh, cantante canadese e ideatore del progetto, e Robin Hannibal, polistrumentista danese (erroneamente, nella recensione del secondo disco Blood, vi avevo detto che Hannibal non era più parte della band). Il suono della band si sta evolvendo verso un qualcosa che parte da un RNB / soul delicatissimo, che però sfiora l'ambient, a volte facendo uso dei cori (in chiusura ed apertura a cura del Danish National Girls' Choir), a volte semplicemente disegnando, con synth delicatissimi e percussioni appena accennate, melodie rarefatte. La composizione si è affinata, le tracce rimangono maggiormente impresse, la voce di Milosh davvero angelica.

Fourth album for Rhye, who are based on the duo Michael Milosh, Canadian singer and creator of the project, and Robin Hannibal, Danish multi-instrumentalist (mistakenly, in the review of the second album Blood, I told you that Hannibal was no longer part of the band). The sound of the band is evolving towards something that starts from a very delicate RNB / soul, which however get close to ambient music, sometimes making use of the choirs (closing and opening by the Danish National Girls' Choir), sometimes simply drawing rarefied melodies with very delicate synths and barely hinted percussion. The composition has been refined, the traces remain more impressed, Milosh's voice truly angelic.
