Look Alive - Black Pistol Fire (2021)
Il quinto (o sesto, sempre bene sottolineare che nel 2011 hanno fatto uscire un album autoprodotto) album del duo canadese, che arriva a quattro anni circa dal precedente Deadbeat Graffiti, mi suggerisce di aggiungere un nome alle similitudini che avevo usato la volta scorsa per darvi un'idea sul genere: gli Arctic Monkeys (ma anche i The Last Shadow Puppets) di Alex Turner, oltre, come dissi, ai Black Keys (e i primi White Stripes). Disco gustoso, perfino ballabile, con alcuni "ganci" irresistibili, niente di nuovo sotto il sole però.
The fifth (or sixth, always good to point out that in 2011 they released a self-produced album) album by the Canadian duo, which comes about four years after the previous Deadbeat Graffiti, suggests to me that I add a name to the similarities I had used last time for give you an idea about the genre: Alex Turner's Arctic Monkeys (but also The Last Shadow Puppets), as well as, as I said, the Black Keys (and the early White Stripes). Tasty album, even danceable, with some irresistible "hooks", nothing new under the sun though.
