Single Album - NOFX (2021)
Quattordicesimo disco per la band di Los Angeles, California (anche questa, una band di miei coetanei), band che ho sempre seguito "da lontano", e che ha un percorso musicale come molti altri, dapprima "duri e puri" nel campo dell'hardcore punk, in seguito molto più aperti alle influenze più disparate. Il disco è godibile e, appunto, molto vario ma ben amalgamato a livello musicale, e come sempre, interessante a livello lirico: da segnalare Fuck Euphemism, dove la band critica la complessità del linguaggio politicamente corretto da usare verso la comunità LGBTQ, nonostante il loro supporto incondizionato alla stessa.
Fourteenth album for the band from Los Angeles, California (also a band of my peers), a band that I have always followed "from afar", and which has a musical path like many others, at first "hard and pure" in the field of hardcore punk, later much more open to the most diverse influences. The album is enjoyable and, in fact, very varied but well blended on a musical level, and as always, interesting on a lyrical level: to report Fuck Euphemism, where the band criticizes the complexity of the politically correct language to be used towards the LGBTQ community, despite the their unconditional support to it.
