Stand-up comedy del 2018 di Ellen DeGeneres, molti anni dopo l'ultimo special (che risaliva al 2003), e quindi il primo dopo l'inizio del suo celebre e seguitissimo show televisivo, il The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

C'è poco da fare: a me, Ellen sta simpatica. Moltissimo. Va da sé che, così come seguo il suo show appena posso, la possibilità di assistere ad un suo special, mi sembra una opportunità deliziosa. E' vero che è amica di molti "potenti", di molte celebrità, è vero che la sua comicità è molto politicamente corretta, ma è pur vero che fa comunque ridere, e che le va comunque sempre riconosciuto il fatto che è stata una delle prime celebrità a fare coming out, e, ai suoi tempi, a rischiare tutto. Spettacolo simpatico e ovviamente divertente.

There is little to do: I like Ellen. Very very much. It goes without saying that, as I follow her show as soon as I can, the possibility of attending a special of her seems to me a delightful opportunity. It is true that she is a friend of many "powerful" people, of many celebrities, it is true that her comedy is very politically correct, but it is also true that she is still funny, and that in any case it must always be recognized that she was one of the first celebrities to come out, and, in her day, to risk everything. Nice and obviously fun show.
