Come vi dicevo in occasione del precedente album omonimo del 2019, la mia attenzione verso di loro è cominciata tardi, seppure li seguissi e simpatizzassi per loro da sempre; me ne dispiaccio un po', ma ormai è tardi. Sono però in tempo per dire che è innegabile il loro approccio monumentale e perfino epico. Lanciandomi in un paragone che sicuramente molti di voi troveranno insostenibile, mi vengono in mente i Manowar (chiaramente non a livello di genere o di influenze musicali, quelle le potete individuare da soli, oppure leggere cosa ne penso sempre nella recensione del disco precedente), ma la band tedesca è sicuramente molto più al passo con i tempi, e, credetemi, i loro avvicinamenti all'autotune presenti su questo nuovo album ne sono esempi cristallini e riuscitissimi. Composizioni semplici ma efficaci, suoni all'avanguardia, e qua e là, piccoli capolavori: Lügen è una di quelle canzoni che ti entrano dentro all'istante, e non se ne vanno. Chapeau, anzi, hut ab!

As I told you on the occasion of the previous self-titled album of 2019, my attention towards them started late, even if I had always followed and sympathized with them; I'm a little sorry about it, but it's too late now. However, I am in time to say that their monumental and even epic approach is undeniable. Launching myself into a comparison that many of you will surely find unsustainable, Manowar comes to mind (clearly not at the level of genre or musical influences, you can identify those yourself, or read what I always think of them in the review of the previous record), but the German band is certainly much more in step with the times, and, believe me, their approaches to autotune on this new album are crystal clear and very successful examples. Simple but effective compositions, avant-garde sounds, and here and there, little masterpieces: Lügen is one of those songs that instantly get inside you, and don't go away. Chapeau, better said, hut ab!
