Undicesimo album in studio, godibilissimo e divertente. La band di Brighton ha, a mio giudizio, trovato un interessante equilibrio tra durezza/potenza e melodia. Album pluri-anticipato da svariati singoli, alcune collaborazioni interessanti quali quella che potete gustare nel videoclip annesso, lo stile degli Architects ha stavolta un po' abbandonato quel retrogusto melanconico e quasi drammatico che caratterizzava molti dei loro momenti melodici, a favore di un timbro che tiene conto delle influenze moderne del pop, senza per questo snaturarsi o abbandonare del tutto il cantato harsh/scream/growl, e gli slowdown di potenza. Un disco che sicuramente riprenderò in futuro, giusto per la gioia che mi trasmette. Non sono bolliti, fidatevi.
Eleventh studio album, enjoyable and fun. The band from Brighton has, in my opinion, found an interesting balance between hardness/power and melody. Album anticipated by several singles, some interesting collaborations such as the one you can enjoy in the attached video clip, the style of Architects has this time abandoned a bit that melancholic and almost dramatic aftertaste that characterized many of their melodic moments, in favor of a timbre that takes into account the modern influences of pop, without distorting or completely abandoning the harsh/scream/growl singing, and the power slowdowns. An album that I will definitely pick up again in the future, just for the joy it gives me. They are not done, trust me.
