Quarto album per i Sumac, che per info, non troverete su Spotify su esplicita richiesta della band alla loro casa discografica, in polemica con alcune dichiarazioni del CEO della piattaforma, Daniel Ek, sulle band con basso numero di streaming. Detto questo, prosegue il viaggio, possiamo senza dubbio definirlo così, di Aaron Turner ed i suoi amichetti, Nick Yacyshyn dei Baptists e Brian Cook dei Russian Circles, nel lato oscuro della musica, metal ma non solo. Un'ora, divisa in sei tracce, di un qualcosa che sembra una jam session di tre musicisti che fanno a gara per chi fa più rumore. Eppure, il risultato, con grandi suoni ed un impatto travolgente, è decisamente affascinante, ma naturalmente, adatto esclusivamente a palati curiosi e rotti a qualsiasi esperienza. L'idea di partenza di Turner, ricordiamolo ancora una volta, era di "spingersi al limite". Missione compiuta.
